Throwing your medicines away

When you stop taking a medicine, or it goes out-of-date, you can take them back to the nearest pharmacy and ask them to throw your medicines away for you. Pharmacies have special bins for throwing away all kinds of medicines, including liquids and tablets. It is much safer than putting them down the sink or toilet, and it is part of a pharmacy’s job.
