YoungMinds and the Innovation Lab

YoungMinds is the UK’s leading charity committed to improving the emotional wellbeing and mental health of children and young people. Driven by their experiences we campaign, research and influence policy and practice. We also provide expert knowledge to professionals, parents and young people through our Parents' Helpline, online resources, training and development, outreach work and publications.

YoungMinds puts young people at the heart of everything we do and we have used the same approach to developing HeadMeds. Young people have been at the centre of all our decisions from the idea, to the name, to how the website should look and the content it should have.

HeadMeds has been produced as part of the Innovation Labs initiative, which has created seven digital tools to improve the mental health and emotional wellbeing of children and young people. The Innovation Labs Project is funded by Comic Relief, The Nominet Trust and the Paul Hamlyn Foundation.
